Complete drinking water network
Dwg file in 1:100 scale (meters)
Venting manholes are devices used in water networks to allow air that accumulates inside pipelines to escape. They are essential components for the optimal management of water networks, helping to improve the efficiency, safety and longevity of the system.
The structure of the vent wells consists of:
- body, usually made of corrosion-resistant materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, or plastic materials. They are often placed in underground manholes accessible by manhole covers to facilitate maintenance;
- lid, equipped with a locking system that allows access for maintenance;
- vent valves, key components that allow air to be expelled without allowing water to escape.
