The Church of Iesu (Greek name of Jesus) is a Catholic temple of modern style and minimalist design, built in the 21st century and located on Avenida de Barcelona, in the district of Riberas de Loyola in San Sebastián. Located on the left bank of the Urumea River, near the Garden of Memory. The church designed by the architect Rafael Moneo was completed in spring 2011.
Its roof through skylights draws a cross of light inside, a cross that is not strictly symmetrical because according to architect Moneo "it intends to reflect the tensions of today's world".
