Rosenthal Center for Contemporary Art Lois & Richard Rosenthal Center for Contemporary Art is a contemporary art museum located in Cincinnati, Ohio and is one of the first contemporary art institutions in the United States.
The CAC is even more important than a real museum, as it has no permanent collection: it dedicates to new developments in painting, sculpture, photography, architecture, performance art and new media. Focusing on programming that reflects “the art of the last five minutes”, the CAC exhibited the works of many famous artists early in their careers, including Andy Warhol.
In 2003, the CAC moved to a new building designed by Zaha Hadid, configuring it as the first American art museum designed by a woman.
Despite being located in an architecturally heterogeneous street, it is perfectly integrated in the urban context, thanks to its projecting box-like volumes……..Wikipedia….>>
