Heliports
Heliport, or helidrome or helipad, is an area designed and equipped for the take-off and landing of helicopters only equipped with facilities for hospitalization and often also for refueling aircraft. It can be made up of one or more landing points, called pitches, and can have ancillary service facilities such as staff and passenger buildings, lighting, a windsock for measuring the strength of the wind and, in larger heliports dimensions, aircraft parking sheds.
Helipad is an airfield intended for the exclusive use of helicopters, other than a heliport. The minimum size of the landing and take-off area must be at least one and a half times the distance between the extreme points of the helicopter with the rotors in motion.
