Conversion from meters to feet: a fast and fairly accurate system consists in scaling the drawing by multiplying the value of the unit of measurement in meters by 3.281
 

Typical logarithmic wind profile in the surface layer, in neutral conditions (Stull 1988). M is the average wind intensity, z the altitude. In the superficial layer the wind speed grows approximately with the logarithm of the height. The profile differs slightly from the logarithmic trend in conditions of unstable stratification.
