Technical description
Self-priming pump with progressive cavity for transporting de-stemmed and crushed grapes.
The pumping group consists of a stainless steel rotor and a rubber stator suitable for food contact. The rotor is formed by a single-start screw with round thread that rotates in the stator which is a two-start female spiral. By engaging each other, the two elements form cavities which represent the liquid conveying chambers. Thanks to these features, the Kappa progressing screw pump reduces the stress on the solid parts of the pumped product.
Wheeled single screw pump, with feed hopper, parts in contact with the product in AISI 304 stainless steel and food-grade rubber. Level sensor for automatic start in the presence of product. Temperature sensor on the pump stator. The pump is equipped with an electrical panel.
