Scale 1:100

The viminate and the palisades are generally used, in the interventions of arrangement and consolidation of the slopes in loose materials, affected by superficial landslides and by erosive phenomena. It is also successfully applied for the arrangement and consolidation of high artificial slopes (for example road embankments or embankments).
In the file an example of a plant of viminata viva seen in plan, elevation and section
Once the surface of the slope to be stabilized has been reshaped, sharpened wooden stakes, about 100 cm long and with a diameter of
4- 8 cm, for about 2/3 of their length. The distance between the posts varies from 50 to 150 cm, among these shorter poles consisting of live cuttings are placed at a distance of about 30 cm. The rods are intertwined in sufficient numbers to form a weave of about 30 cm in height.
