Roman Architectures
The major works of Roman architecture
Roman architecture dwg drawings. We have developed many drawings of ancient Roman monuments in dwg format, 2D and 3D reconstructions with the utmost precision and professionalism.
The architecture of ancient Rome was influential and enduring, characterized by a combination of technical innovation and the adoption of styles derived from previous cultures. The Republic and the Roman Empire have left an indelible mark on the history of architecture.
During the Republic, Roman buildings were mainly functional and of public use, such as temples and aqueducts. However, with the advent of the Empire, Roman architecture reached its maximum expression. Imposing public buildings such as the Colosseum, the Arch of Septimius Severus and the Pantheon were built.
Furthermore, Roman architecture was notable for its use of concrete, allowing the construction of large structures. The Romans also perfected the use of arches and vaults, creating more open and bright interior spaces.
The legacy of Roman architecture is still evident in many European cities, where arches, columns and amphitheaters continue to inspire modern architecture.
